Our stock is sourced from Maine and is 4 sides of all sapwood--clean and clear.
This is premium grade American Hard Maple that is hand-selected for use in an instrument that will give years of pleasure. It can be used form multiple neck blanks, fingerboards, backs...the list goes on with this kind of highly figured wood.
It has been sanded on both faces and it is a showcase piece. It is difficult to find this kind of figure in soft maple, but even more so with common with Hard Maple.
